Mame Biram Diouf, Manchester United
Mame Biram Diouf has revealed that he thought someone was playing a prank on him when Manchester United made their approach.
The 21-year-old Molde striker will join the Red Devils in January in a deal worth around €2.3 million. Speaking to The Sun, Molde director Tarje Nordstrand expressed how surprised Diouf had been.
"He didn't believe it was true," Nordstrand said. "He thought it was a joke. It took a little time before the news hit him. "He told me he then couldn't sleep."
Diouf has made 73 league appearances during his two seasons at Molde, scoring 38 goals. |
