Released in 1968, this film won six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director for British director Carol Reed.

Q% |5 }% b6 _* G5 i5.39.217.77Oliver! was the only G-rated film to be honored with an Academy Award for Best Picture (the following year saw the only X-rated film to win a Best Picture Oscar: Midnight Cowboy, which was re-rated R two years later). Oliver! was also the last musical to win the Best Picture Oscar until Chicago 34 years later.
