黄花城长城和箭扣长城，箭扣长城位于京郊怀柔县西北的八道河乡境内，海拔1141米，距怀柔县城约30公里，山势非常富于变化，险峰断崖之上的长城也显得更加雄奇险要。箭扣长城因整段长城蜿蜒呈W 状，形如满弓扣箭而得名，箭扣长城是明代万里长城最著名的险段之一。箭扣长城依山就势，敌楼依山势险要而建，其走势富于变化。自牛犄角边、南大楼、鬼门关、箭扣梁、东西缩脖楼、东西油篓顶、将军守关、天梯、鹰飞倒仰、九眼楼、北京结到望京楼绵延不断。箭扣长城构造墙体的是大块的白云岩，十分醒目。
