This is no truth...., if one of your family member work, most of the family will cover by insurance.....,

Here what I paid in boston area with regular insurance.....

$20 per doctor visit...., cover almost everything...., and most of the preventive care are free

Cost nothing for get birth in hospital with private room for around 3 days....., and few nurse visit at home....

Dental care....

clean teeth for free two time per year....., and cover 80% most other care...., of course, no as cheap as China, but this is not $1500 US...., it is around $100

that is real truth in us  that is why a lot us people buy insurance to cover their medical dental bill  $1500 USD that is normal but you can make payment for it it may cost you 20 per month at this time

在美國拔牙真的不用us$1500，價格取決於哪顆牙及麻醉藥的多少，最重要是診所的規模，普通牙科診所
收費約us$200-$400不等。建議: 見牙醫前打電話詢問價格。

poor health/dental coverage.  need to get insurance for sure.  unlike canada, health is covered by government, and most company's benefit covers family dental.
