S"pore spa offers bak kut teh-rapy bath & roti canai mask...
Those who fancy taking a bath with bak kut teh soup can now do so in Singapore where a spa centre is offering bizarre packages to make its clients look beautiful, reported China Press.
It said the centre also offered other services, like a roti canai dough mask for the back. Its founder Yvette Chiang said she chose bak kut teh and roti canai dough to beautify her clients as they could 'best represent Singapore food'.
The report said a masseuse would first massage the client with aromatherapy oil before applying the roti canai dough on the back, adding that the dough would help tighten one's skin and prevent skin allergy. 'With the dough covering the skin, it will help the body to sweat and detox,' she said.

As for the bak kut teh soup, she said it contained the essence of Chinese medicine and it would help relax and detox the body when it was used in a bath. Ms Chiang said she believed these packages would attract those who preferred natural treatment to the centre.
