You probably don't know yet that the pier and the clock tower
% Z+ d! {' b. x3 F5 }! f& Z: p公仔箱論壇was retired on 12 November 2006, after some five decade of service. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb  n4 O# K; u" ?6 g* R/ Z6 ?7 r6 v
The old pier has been demolished and replaced by a new one some distance away. 公仔箱論壇# X) K! p5 @) b7 y
From the last picture above, you may find a old pal looking at its construction

The clock, manufactured by the same company as the Big Ben in London,tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb9 P- f2 k1 v- ~7 T) X1 g! I8 S7 Z
and probably made in the same era, was carefully removed and stored up

It is our best wishes that we can see its beauty again soon, hopefully in here too.

Is it good or bad? I don't know. But I am sure, with the tide of history, fading out of famous Hong Kong beauty spots like Star Ferry in Central are not rare to happen in Hong Kong in years to come.
