You probably don't know yet that the pier and the clock tower
* S% [" \8 M/ O, Y# y公仔箱論壇was retired on 12 November 2006, after some five decade of service. 5.39.217.77" W' n; L$ n5 m5 k: [) e: E0 D, D9 u# W! k
The old pier has been demolished and replaced by a new one some distance away.

The clock, manufactured by the same company as the Big Ben in London,公仔箱論壇  n! P2 v7 r" ~% L. r
and probably made in the same era, was carefully removed and stored up $ T7 c8 V  s) `

At present there is no big changes at the Kowloon side of the Star Ferry. But nobody can tell it will not be changed in the future.

Is it good or bad? I don't know. But I am sure, with the tide of history, fading out of famous Hong Kong beauty spots like Star Ferry in Central are not rare to happen in Hong Kong in years to come.
