Mepg and Divx which format is better !

Please help!!! Between Mepg I, II and Divx which format is better?
  k( k  U6 E& `8 C3 E# nI mean the pitcure quality, and also if I want to convert what video size I use 0 D& K6 {$ G2 [/ n
can get the best pitcure results?  Any person that can help me!!!!
