i believe TVB always makes the shows tailored to the middle-aged housewives... maybe every now and then there would be a few good surprises.  The historic shows are horrible, the clothes look the same regardless of which era / dynasty.  Characters' behaviors and lines are modern....公仔箱論壇9 B6 I) M% o  @, G( r5 s, g

So, I seldom watch TVB shows, except the 金庸 works.
