The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb- D' q' f% O+ G% ~

Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side. ) X& e/ Z( P' }8 v7 Y; {2 IFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.5.39.217.77: _0 H9 B# Y- H/ I

Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 5.39.217.77# M# z, t `. h8 k+ K! y% ?
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.* h, F0 M, ]) Z, X2 u5 s$ }
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade. + I+ d1 F* `" F {That's all folks. 公仔箱論壇& [7 ]4 `. c8 b
