The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. ; l& B+ J4 A4 w0 l! E# P

Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side. - s- x( }6 E& v/ oFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.5.39.217.77, a+ H, D* r- `9 i
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.公仔箱論壇 y. p& G* T- f2 s* z
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 3 g/ l# s$ \* Z) y4 C: z0 X公仔箱論壇Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall. ! k- X5 C# o- L+ H8 t4 PThe last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop.
