貝聿銘's design of 羅浮宮博物館（Musee de Louvre） has been critically emphazised not because it's not good. Even those don't like it do admit it is a great structure in architecture. But they insist that the structure is total unmatch with the classical structure of the museum. I must say I personally like it but not as part of the museum which keeps lot of classic masterpieces in different aspects. It just don't match! But I've an article many years ago saying that the basic concept is " to bring the inside out" That mean to create the largest, unobsructed view within.
