刑事組探員徐梓薇 (張榕容飾) 在協助調查一宗非法移工案時，竟意外偵破了一宗疑似連環兇殺案，然而，屍體的處理方式，怎麼跟三年前已被自己擊斃的疑犯這麼類同? 案中有案的偵查過程中，外事警察陳家豪 (劉冠亭飾) 一直從旁熱心幫忙，甚至申請調職追隨梓薇。黑白兩道通吃的政二代議員楊啟逍 (莊凱勛飾)，競逐連任期間被神秘鎗手狙擊，警方大為緊張，要派員保護，啟逍卻指定必須由徐梓薇負責。原來三年前，啟逍在家族經營的旅館被積犯胡大東 (李銘忠飾) 及同伙脅持，當時還是特勤隊隊員的梓薇及時趕到擊斃了胡大東同伙，救出啟逍。忽然的任務，令梓薇無法繼續追查三年前案件的線索去翻案，不禁光火且看不起這個政二代。但日久見人心，保護過程中，梓薇看到啟逍事事親力親為的一面，不禁對他改觀。這時候，另一宗類似的連環兇殺案又再發生……案中有案的千絲萬縷，冥冥中卻連接起梓薇和啟逍二人，他們將被命運支配，還是打破宿命，一起對抗命運?
