《四季中國》歷時兩年，跨越全中國24個省區市。為尋找二十四節氣對當代中國的影響，攝製組探訪中國的至北村寨漠河，至南城市三亞，體驗45度高溫的重慶，零下30攝氏度的哈爾濱。
