EA剛剛公佈了《FIFA 14》全新生涯模式(Career Mode)的細節，同時官方也發出了宣傳片，向玩家介紹如何將自己的自創球員通過上傳到網上實現全球轉會。全球的玩家都可以通過轉會來使用其他玩家自創的球員，並且來豐富自己的隊伍。

每一個俱樂部都會有四到六個球探，更大的俱樂也可獲得更多名。球探本身的影響力和能力也會用星級來分別，最高五顆星。在尋找人才時，球探會根據六個特性來觀察這名球員是否適合您球隊的陣容，通常球探會在幾天后或是一周內作出對球員的評估報告。而最終球員該進入那一隊的决定权仍归玩家来选择。

遊戲也允許玩家開啟“拒絕/禁止報價”，防止其他俱樂部與自己的球員接近。
