Numerous reports have emerged claiming that The gunners have launched a bid to sign Marseille forward Loic Remy from under the noses of some of their Premier League rivals, including Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Independent made claims which suggested that the Gunners are ready to make a £10million move for the France international, who had been heavily linked with Newcastle United, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspurs.
The newspaper also suggested that German side Schalke and Italian giants Inter Milan were also very keen on the striker, but believe that the Arsenal’s ‘strong’ interest now makes them favourites to land his signature very soon, despite the fact they may still facing strong competition from Newcastle, who need a new striker to join Cisse after Ba’s departure to Chelsea.
