Three of Arsenal‘s injured players are set to make a comeback for this weekend’s derby against Tottenham.
It is expected that Theo Walcott, Wojciech Szczęsny and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will give the Gunners a boost and return for the North London derby on Saturday lunchtime.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been out for the last month with a hip injury, while Theo Walcott sustained an injury during Arsenal’s draw against Fulham last weekend.
Wojiech Szczesny has out since Arsenal thrashed Southampton two months ago, and he is expected to replace stand-in goalkeeper Vito Mannone.
However, it is not such good news for Kieran Gibbs, who has not yet recovered fully from an injury to his thigh. This means either Andre Santos or Thomas Vermaelen will stay at left-back.
