兩年前俄羅斯一家動物園內的黑猩猩媽媽遺棄了它的寶寶，一名飼養員將小猩猩帶回家，另她出乎意料的是，她養的一只馬士提夫獒犬“收留”了這只小猩猩，如媽媽一般呵護它，將小猩猩與其它狗寶寶一起撫養。

Chimp's best friend: This huge bull mastiff accepted the baby as one of her own litter after his mother abandoned him

Give us a cuddle: Her puppies also seemed perfectly happy to be playmates to the little chimp who loves cuddles

Identity crisis! The chimp appears to think he is one of the puppies and bends down to eat like them

Snuggle time: The abandoned animal takes up one of his favourite poses with his adoptive mum

Come here! However one of the puppies looks slightly squashed in this shot

Where's he gone? The chimp spent much of his early life clamped to her side

Dog tired: It's a hard life being mum to a baby chimp as well as a litter of lively puppies
