I learn that from dole, you just need to twist off the top (leaf part), don't need to cut, then put it in a water container for 2-3 weeks, then root will start growing. I thought the video is the right way to do before and that's what I did before, but twist off the top is much easier and don't waste any edible part of the pineapple.
