新疆天鹅湖位于巴音布鲁克大草原上，海拔约2500米，为典型的高山湿地湖泊。这里是天山开都河的源头，四周雪山环抱，在开阔的草原湿地上，九曲十八湾的美丽线条让人醉倒。天鹅湖水草丰茂，气候湿润，非常适宜各种鸟类在此繁衍生息，有大小天鹅10000万多只。

天鹅自古让人喜爱，被当地蒙古族牧民奉为神鸟。蒙古族视白色为纯洁、高贵、吉祥、幸福的象征：喝的牛奶、放的羊是白色，住的毡房，吃的大饼是白色，敬献的哈达也是白色的。因此，洁白的天鹅被当地牧民誉为吉祥鸟，幸福鸟。5.39.217.770 `& i# i# _% W9 b* b1 Q

每年3月初，南迁过冬的天鹅陆续飞回巴音布鲁克，开始换羽求偶，寻找自己的安乐窝。4月下旬开始产卵孵化，5月下旬到8月中旬，天鹅几乎是整天守候在幼鸟的身边，一直到9月中旬，成年天鹅开始带领小天鹅练习飞翔。10月中旬随着气温变冷，大批的天鹅又开始云集，陆续越过天山，飞往南方过冬，等待下一次迁徙。

Some very nice photos, especial the aerial shots, they show the vast landscape, winding river, sparsely populated. There people live in harmony with nature, the white swan is so content and peaceful, must be starting a family soon.
Here, we have black swans, always lives in pairs, always keep a good distance from people, a little shy, magnificent birds.
