My impression of Wuhan was a city of heavy industry with lots of steel refineries. These photos give me a very pleasant surprise. The way the colourful paper umbrellas used to form the awning along the shop front is a novel idea, both practical and aesthetic. And the lakes and garden are so welcoming, must be a great site to visit.

Wuhan was used an important heavy steel refineries city, but now becomes a tourism spot more than its factory career.
