The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. # j$ k& @; L7 k/ s. b

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.5.39.217.77. L: u2 F) y0 R3 o0 M' q( l
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.
( r$ Q2 @, d, S: l+ xtvb now,tvbnow,bttvbFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.1 W1 r$ P% k# N
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.
7 |+ N2 w' _4 g# Y4 AThen we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too.
- n; H6 d. T$ C* D4 U( {$ L9 e* THere we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.
' Q o2 N* P) N) }: TThe last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.
