run唔到ecternal hard disk

唔知點解我部電腦run唔到個external hard disk
明明o係其他電腦冇問題
但係我部電腦就話佢係不明裝置
更新唔到唔俾我用
有冇辦法可以開到?

1# sindychan try to plug the external hard drive to a different computer and see if the drive is functional. if it does it probably your USB port is having not enough power for it (if you hard drive doesn't need external power source which takes power from USB) and well, if it doesn't work with other machine, it means the hard drive is defective.

i got the same prob with the ext hard dsk. but When i plugin to the usb port, thr is no new drive showed.. after some minutes, the hdd appeared but when i right click on it, the 'my computer' windows was freezed.

可能係USB唔夠電供比個HARD DISK,或者有時個WINDOWS有問題都會出現你果種情況.

ya..is similar to my problem b4..
whenever / whatever u plug in to different PC/laptop the hd appeared but freeze.just lke no response.
is the external hd casing problem.
try change the hd casing.

you are correct,sometimes usb output no enough power to power up the external card, try another PC whether your external HD function or not .

I am also have this problem and i have try to using my office pc it's work but cannot work with my home pc.What's the problem is it?
