科技愛好者應該都知道第一款 Android 手機 HTC Dream，該裝置還另一個名稱 T-Mobile G1，發佈時間比初代 iPhone 晚了一年。令人感到驚奇的是，其實在初代 iPhone 推出前五個月，很可能成為第一部Android手機的渲染圖便已經製作成功。

All along we were working on 2 phones, Sooner, more blackberry-like & Dream, touchscreen based. % Y0 i% k/ ?8 d公仔箱論壇渲染圖中可以看到，該裝置通體為黑色和霓虹色，整機結構與 HTC Dream 非常類似，都為橫向滑蓋設計，滑蓋下方為全尺寸物理鍵盤，鍵盤採用全霓虹色。5.39.217.77( X+ g* d% G; q
 由於渲染圖是理想狀態，所以 HTC Dream 因為各種原因無法完全採用渲染圖的設計。像是渲染圖中的點動輪變成了軌跡球；許多特定功能的按鍵被削減，減少至手機底部的五個按鈕。公仔箱論壇' u9 `& L, V5 d9 J
 HTC Dream根據 Miner 的爆料，瞭解到當時是在開發兩款手機，一款是類似 Blackberry 的裝置，代號為「Sooner」，另一款便是代號為「Dream」的手機。但在初代 iPhone 推出之後，捨棄了 Sooner 項目，集中精力開發 Dream 項目，最終推出第一款 Android 手機 HTC Dream。 |
