全球食評權威「查格美食指南」（Zagat restaurant guide）最新調查指出，倫敦    是全球出外用膳最貴的城市，享用一頓3道菜的膳食平均需付619港元，相對紐約    ，同類膳食只需約306港元

調查訪問了全球45個城市5000至1萬人，發現在倫敦吃3道菜的一頓飯，平均花費39.09鎊（約619港元），較去年上升2.9％。巴黎以35.37鎊（約560港元）超越去年排榜首的東京，位列第2；東京則以35.1鎊（約556港元）退居第3。

9 y1 Z. F- x8 q: ?負責調查的查格說﹕「倫敦用餐費貴得驚人，但在品質及價格上仍算物有所值。」位於倫敦王家醫院路的GorgonRamsay餐廳收費最昂貴，每人平均消費107鎊（約1700港元）。而被譽為「無可挑剔」的ChezBruce餐廳，食物質素獲最高評價，每人平均收費57鎊（902港元）。查格表示，紐約是他最喜愛用膳的地方，接是倫敦，然後是東京或上海   ，巴黎則排第5。

儘管倫敦餐廳收費不菲，但若要到講究的高級餐廳用餐，收費則比其他國際城市同類餐廳為低，倫敦首20位最貴餐廳平均收費是87.9鎊（1390港元），巴黎為101鎊（1600港元），東京則需102鎊（1616港元）。倫敦市民平均一周外出用餐2.5次，紐約、巴黎及東京市民則分別是一周3.4次、2.9次及3.6次。

I spent a fews years in London and known for a fact that eating in/around London costs big bucks. However I think we (people who lives in the States) must understand that in European countries diners don't give service tips (Honk Kong, China and Japan too), but we do: at least 15% in my knowledge. So I guess when talking about paying for food, no doubt London is the most expensive but the US too...
