The Coronel/Bennani battle was a race-long affair, as both drivers once again took advantage of the BMW’s strong start to lead from the front row.

On lap 17, Coronel got the advantage after diving down the inside of the Moroccan driver going into the second right-hand corner, and allowed him to secure the victory at the end of the 26-laps.
