only -- the last stanza was added later, also first in Hungarian, 5.39.217.771 `7 X* J! A. v3 M: S
as Zoe Orosz from Hungary pointed out to me. 5.39.217.777 u- V) V, m7 O" r. Y' E

Actually, the second part of the song in Hungarian is not so reassuring at all. tvb now, tvbnow, bttvb. X5 n2 x7 E% a
It is if at all possible, much gloomier than the first two stanzas, almost apocalyptic. tvb now, tvbnow, bttvb. K0 f  W0 ^& M* o
It looks like the pessimism of the song was too much for the translators and they made their translation a happier one.
- O$ r) Q' S7 M, S/ ^tvb now,tvbnow,bttvbIn that case one might argue that the translator has done a bad job

a translator may also be more than just a translator and based on the original create a new song. tvb now, tvbnow, bttvb; s* w: \, d/ K
Perhaps the Sam Lewis mentioned in the credits is responsible for this.

$ m2 V0 a* g) [1 `6 Q/ V' oZoe Orosz also made a translation into English of the original Hungarian song, adding: 5.39.217.771 W; X& I% T$ x1 |* T7 Z; b/ _. X
It looks like Javor wrote the first part and Seress the second. It is very-very gloomy. 5.39.217.77. O. ~2 V' b& D( M
It seems to refer to the horrors of a war at the end.
: F% D* R2 F  B+ f7 X- N- V5 |I'm glad that there's an English version that makes it less terrible. To be honest,

The war Zoe mentions could be the First World War, as the song originates from the 1930s. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb6 K8 M7 L' E' w1 B! c, K. M

5 j) g7 m/ u4 {7 ^5 oTVBNOW 含有熱門話題,最新最快電視,軟體,遊戲,電影,動漫及日常生活及興趣交流等資訊。I like this song very much! It is a little jazzy, and Sarah's singing and the music create the right mood for the song.
, z; ~* u7 s3 C; {' N( s, F- WOne thing is very strange, though. The mood changes between the second and the third stanza,
" N* Q4 `/ |* Y$ jbecause she wakes up and realises that the gloomy first two stanzas were nothing but a dream and the third stanza is then more chearful.
4 x7 J! i6 a# ], U2 n3 q  x$ L; uThis change of mood is strangely rather abrupt:
* ]2 A( ?5 u' z- L/ c- nthe pause is less than a second -- Sarah has barely enough time to catch her breath.
( V  w% Q1 f" R9 s3 P5 w* V0 B0 Ltvb now, tvbnow, bttvbI would have expected the change in mood between stanzas two and three to be build up a little more gradually,
2 Y( c" O0 x" z6 I9 Ztvb now, tvbnow, bttvbin five to ten seconds or so. After all, waking up and realising that it was a dream takes time.
! Z& G7 Q) F7 B! Z& g# L公仔箱論壇Hazan suggested that the last stanza could still be part of the dream: the singer has lost her lover,
