speaker buget $5000內
klipsch HD Theater 500($39xx) ,Canton Movie 120MX($31xx),Energy Take CLassic 5.1($48xx)??

Onkyo good choice for a beginner surround receiver. For speakers, it will get personal. Why?
Because, different country speakers will characteristically sounds different! I am from Canada and I know Energy speakers. Take 5 is the best choice!
