[旅遊資訊] How to get the $6000 from HK government in Los Angeles

How to get the $6000 from HK government in Los Angeles, I don't have a bank account in HongKong and no plan to go back to Hong Kong within 2-3 years.
By any chance, can I open a bank account of Hong Kong (any bank is ok) in Los Angeles here, any advise??

- -are u hong kong people? if don't, you can't get that 6000 hkd, if you are, just back to hong kong and go to bank to fill an application, that can let you get the 6000 hkd

u can try to ask HSBC or BOC in LA to try to help u open bank acc in hk, but there are fee for it..

my hk friend just go back to hk for vacation and at the same time get the money

Bank of China has service to help you open HK account. This is happening in Vancouver here, not sure will it be the same as in LA

In Toronto, you can open an a/c at Bank of China or HSBC.
BoC will charge you CAD$60 for opening an HK a/c, I have no idea if they still doing this now.
For HSBC, it is free if you have a premier a/c, otherwise, you have to pay CAD$100 for opening an HK a/c
